After spending the day on the beach, or hiking to a nearby waterfall, or touring a canopy zipline, one will
find the quiet and comfort of one of the six rooms at Roca Verde to be just the thing to get ready for the next
day's activities, or inactivities as the case may be.
Roca Verde is owned and run by Mike, a North American who appreciates the comfort of quality. Being able
to obtain the "things" that one perhaps took for granted in the US can sometimes be a challenge in Latin
America. Mike has gone the extra mile to ensure that a stay in Roca Verde's rooms is not only quiet and
clean, but very comfortable as well

Arriving at Roca Verde is a treat in itself. Already one has spent sometime being able to see the ocean as you
have driven along the coast. As one nears the hotel, it seems to just get prettier with each turn. Massive
exotic trees at times form a tunnel that you drive through with the frothy white water off to the right. When
you finally turn into the drive, you know you have arrived. You actually drive toward the ocean from the
highway.

As you drive up to the main building, you can look past it to the ocean. The grounds are extremely inviting
and as so many have done, the first few days they are content to stay put at Roca Verde with its pool, its
beach, and its restaurant, which is known in the area as one of the finest. Of course "staying put" can easily
include a short walk up the beach to Dominical with its thriving beach side community. On Saturday nights
though, most guests will choose to stay as Roca Verde opens up with its famous live music and salsa dancing.

| THE RESTAURANT Roca Verde's restaurant is well used by the local community. It is the largest accomodation for large groups in the area. It is open and airy and has the waves just a stones throw away. There is frequently live music there, and any time that there is a community fund raiser, it is likely to be at the Roca Verde restaurant. Not to worry though, Mike the proprieter is known for running a tight ship. Roca Verde is the place to go when one is looking for some night time fun, with peace of mind. Now, on to the good stuff, the food! Roca Verde's cooks are known around the area as the finest. The menu is a marvel and you can even bring them any fresh catch from the day to fix as you request. |
